Ensuring a smooth transition to the new East Midlands Railway franchise:

During an Urgent Question on the bidding process for the new East Midlands Railway franchise, I asked what benefits the new contract will deliver for rail users in Corby & East Northamptonshire, and sought assurances that the transition from the old contract to the new will be seamless.

Meeting with Urban & Civic about the Priors Hall development:

It was good to meet with Nigel Hugill, the Chief Executive at Urban & Civic, and be taken on a tour of the rapidly growing Priors Hall development. We discussed the progress of the different stages of the development and talked about the future phases and the plans for them.
