It was fantastic to visit the new, stunning Hermitage House Care Home in Thrapston on Friday, to have a look around ahead of them welcoming their first residents this week. It was clear that much thought had gone into the design of the building, with a huge range of impressive facilities to make the diverse space welcoming and comfortable for residents and their families, and to ensure that the best care can be provided at all times. It was very interesting to see how medical aids and equipment had been integrated into the home, as well as familiar items from the local area, as it strives to demonstrate what the future of care homes could look like, with its cutting-edge approach. I've no doubt it will be a fantastic asset to our community in caring for some of our elderly and vulnerable residents.
