I was pleased to take part in the recording of BBC Politics East at the Corby Cube, which aired on Sunday and took a deeper dive into the resilience of our local economy and how, in light of the Chancellor's Budget, we might continue to level-up our infrastructure, lever in more new investment, and further support local jobs and grow our existing businesses. It was interesting to hear from some of our fantastic local Corby businesses and organisations, including the Pen Green Centre and Adrenaline Alley, about looking to the future, as well as taking part in what was a good natured debate amongst the politicians. Ultimately, our area has done very well in attracting new jobs, investments in our infrastructure and public services, helping our existing businesses to grow and expand, and in unleashing new opportunities for people of all ages - but we must never be complacent and there is undoubtedly much more still to do. I very much look forward to working in partnership to take the next strides forward. You can watch the programme, here: tinyurl.com/4zsamxvx .
