A Very Welcome Victory for Lyveden New Bield!

I was delighted to learn today that the Court of Appeal has ruled to uphold the High Court's decision to quash the Planning Inspectorate’s approval for a wind turbine development close to Lyveden New Bield.

Rushden Lakes Decision Delayed - The Fight Goes On!

Today we learnt that the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government has delayed his decision on the Rushden Lakes development at Skew Bridge, which we had expected him to make on Thursday (13th February 2014).

Proposed Changes to Education in East Northamptonshire - Update!

Today, I met with John O’Leary, the Headteacher of King John School in Thrapston and Nick Hearne, the Headteacher of Thrapston Primary School, to discuss how the proposed changes to education in East Northamptonshire would affect their respective schools and pupils.

Bulwick village shop fire:

I was so sorry to hear that the Bulwick village shop, The Pickled Village, was involved in a serious fire on Tuesday night. This is such sad news, but a real relief to hear everyone is OK.
