UPDATE: Over the last ten days, I have received many contacts from residents living in Nassington, relating to very poor mobile phone signals. It would appear that this has particularly impacted those on O2 and Vodafone services and has understandably presented some really challenging communication difficulties for people.
Residents can rest assured that I have been actively raising this with the various providers, and I also wrote to every household in the village, seeking to understand the scale of the problem. The latest update that has come through to me today is that Vodafone engineers went out to the relevant infrastructure on the 11th July to investigate and fix the issue and have since issued a response stating that levels have remained stable. I have also received a number of updates from residents with reports of improved service.
However, if you are still affected by this problem, please do drop me a line with details to pursglovet@parliament.uk and I will continue to raise any concerns accordingly. The response to my evidence gathering call has been hugely helpful in pressing for action - and thank you to all who replied - but it remains invaluable to have any specific feedback from any resident that has been affected by this issue, in order that I can accurately relay the scale of any ongoing problem through the representations I am making, and of course, continuing to press for urgent action to address any outstanding issues.
