Recently, I was pleased to be invited to a meeting with Network Rail regarding the Leyland Bridge, on Irthlingborough Road. The meeting provided an opportunity to ask questions about the rebuilding of the bridge following the successful campaign by ROAR and local residents, actively supported by myself and Peter Bone MP, and it was positive to hear that preparatory work is underway on this. There is still a way to go, but the message conveyed was clear: local residents and businesses alike need the bridge to be rebuilt as quickly as possible, and we will keep the pressure up for speedy progress.
