It was good to learn more about ParkLives at their recent reception in Parliament - a great initiative, which offers free activities for all in local parks.

‘Fairtrade’ reception

Recently, I attended a parliamentary reception on ‘Fairtrade’ to celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight and hear from cocoa farmers from across the world, particularly female farmers, who fight against the gender pay gap.

National Lottery Community Fund:

I’m really supportive of the great work done by The National Lottery Community Fund which is the largest funder of community projects in the UK.

I was pleased to attend the Association of Convenience Stores’ launch of the ‘2020 Rural Shop Report’ recently in Parliament.

We had a fantastic turnout at last weekend’s door knocking session, where we got out there and knocked on thousands of doors in Raunds, Stanwick and Hargrave and gained valuable feedback from hundreds and hundreds of residents, much of which I have already shared with various senior ministers.
