Northamptonshire Police Meeting

I recently attended an event at Northamptonshire Police Headquarters, focussed on addressing the scourge of modern slavery, along with my neighbouring colleague, Peter Bone MP, and representatives from Northamptonshire Police, Justice and Care and the East Midlands Regional Organised Crime Unit. It is so important that organisations work together to tackle this appalling criminality and this event was a very valuable opportunity to understand the operational terrain in doing that work and bringing the perpetrators to justice. After all, modern slavery can happen at any time and anywhere - we must all be vigilant in spotting the signs and reporting it accordingly.
