It was really interesting to visit Bailey’s Skip Hire & Recycling in Corby to see their fantastic new sorting machinery and recycling equipment in action, sorting vast tonnages of waste per hour. This sophisticated new tech is helping to allow Bailey’s to improve their green credentials, as it is preventing a significant amount of waste from going to landfill - as it would have done in the past. They also have ambitions to install solar panels at their site, as well as exploring how they can further improve their ‘energy from waste’ capabilities to further help to reduce waste product. This is really commendable stuff, and it’s great to see this Corby-based business expanding and helping to ensure a more sustainable future locally, with a positive impact further afield too. I look forward to continuing to support them moving forward, as a really innovative, forward-leaning local business, striving to do its very best by the environment.
