It was great to be able to go along to a meeting of the Thrapston Town Council Youth Forum, where the topics up for discussion included transport for young people in rural areas; local work experience opportunities; places for young people to meet and socialise safely; along with a whole host of other local and national issues. I enjoyed hearing the views of these really impressive young people from Thrapston and the surrounding villages and it's brilliant that they have the opportunity to talk about the issues that matter to them within their community - all through this structured forum, which is helping to change things for the better.
