I met with a group of residents who are understandably concerned about the location of a new 5G mast on Welland Vale Road in Corby, and the consultation process which was sorely absent, in advance of Three installing it, with various knock on issues arising, including adverse impacts on television and mobile phone signals, the boxes obstructing the pathway and visibility from a nearby junction, as well as the fact it just looks out of place. Having seen the location of it for myself along with Councillor Mark Pengelly, I am raising the situation formally with both the council and Three, and hope that this can be reviewed and looked at afresh, ideally with consideration given to re-siting it.
