I recently met with Naomi Green, the Managing Director of England's Economic Heartland, which is an organisation responsible for promoting our region and ensuring that it realises its full potential, particularly around the infrastructure keeping pace with the housing growth we are seeing. When we met, we spoke about transport infrastructure and about how high quality, improved road and rail routes would benefit local residents, while providing ample opportunity for growth and development in our area, both in terms of housing and new jobs.
