Good news! I was very pleased to hear this week that Planning Appeal B regarding the change of use of land for residential and development purposes at the Peasdale Hill site in Middleton, including temporary purposes, has been dismissed by the Planning Inspectorate. This is a very promising development and testament to local efforts and that of Middleton RAG, who I have been pleased to actively support at every stage. There is still a way to go, however, in ensuring that the planning conditions attached to both the Peasdale Hill and Oakley Park sites are enforced as appropriate, and I have raised this again with North Northamptonshire Council, as a few issues have arisen, including from this decision, that need to be addressed now as a matter of urgency to ensure compliance.
