I recently wrote to North Northamptonshire Council to convey the objections of a large number of local residents from Titchmarsh, Thrapston, and the surrounding villages to planning application NE/22/00151/FUL. My letter - below - sets the situation out in more detail, but I am always happy to help ensure my constituent's concerns are heard clearly. I have also specifically asked the council to take a broader view around prioritising the use of brownfield land for industrial development such as this, as opposed to using greenfield sites that are, rightly, prized so strongly within our rural communities and which should only be developed in extremis. I will continue to work closely with residents to ensure that these views are fed into the planning process and properly taken account of when decisions are made by councillors.
