Further to my previous update on this, which you can find here, https://tinyurl.com/5cj42tas, EMR have been back in touch to let me know that the public consultation conducted by Transport Focus on plans to modernise customer service across the rail network is set to be extended to Friday 1st September 2023, allowing everyone to have their say. In recent weeks, I have received various queries and concerns about this, which I have raised appropriately, including in a meeting with EMR directly, and I know that Corby Train Station is a vital and well-used transport link locally. I am therefore very keen that local voices are heard on this issue and you can complete the consultation, here: tinyurl.com/2s44zuab. Additionally, EMR have published an overarching Equality Impact Assessment (EQIA). An EQIA focusses on assessing and recording the potential impacts of an activity or policy on people with characteristics protected under the Equality Act 2010. This can be found on the dedicated EMR consultation webpage, under accessibility, here: https://tinyurl.com/3tk358fh.
