It was lovely to celebrate the opening of the new Crazy Hats Waiting Lounge and Garden at Kettering General Hospital recently. This is a brilliant new facility, that I know will make a big difference to so many patients and their loved ones locally in the years ahead, making their experience of the hospital all the more comfortable. Crazy Hats has been such a force for good locally over the years, raising over £3.4 million to help support those suffering from breast cancer and their families - and Glennis Hooper, who spearheaded the effort for two decades, is one of the most inspirational people I have ever met, with all of her boundless energy, passion and enthusiasm. With the charity having now gone into retirement, this was yet another impactful project, and a fitting one to sign off with. Glennis, we salute you and all you have achieved - THANK YOU!
