It is quite clear that the majority of people in Corby & East Northamptonshire want Brexit to be delivered as soon as possible - hardly surprising given that 64% of people voted to leave in Corby and 58% in East Northamptonshire. As your local MP, I have consistently voted at every opportunity to try and deliver the referendum result consistent with what people voted for. From my weekly discussions on the doorstep and visits to local businesses, I am clear that there must be no more dither and delay and I will do everything possible to help ensure we leave the EU on the 31st October - exactly as the Prime Minister has promised.
Ultimately, it is impossible to please everyone on this issue and I receive emails and letters from my constituents asking me to take just about every position possible on the subject.
