Funding boost for Northamptonshire Police

We promised more funding for local policing and that's exactly what we're doing - keeping our promise with a £9.6 million boost for this coming year. That means more police out on the beat, catching criminals and deterring crime here in Corby East Northamptonshire. Good news!

Success on funding for day care services!

Our day care services provide a brilliant and much-valued source of support for many elderly and vulnerable people in our community and are undoubtedly a lifeline for some, providing vital friendship and help and often important respite for carers.

New pub in Apethorpe

I understand The Willow & Brook pub is to reopen in Apethorpe this weekend, following a long absence of a pub in the village. It was great to stop off and have a look when passing by today and I wish the new landlords well with the venture. Do stop in for a pint if you’re passing!
