After my weekly advice surgery in Corby, I visited Tata Steel for one of my regular catch-up meetings to discuss how the company is doing locally and the UK’s ‘exit’ from the European Union, along with the wider support the industry requires to help grow and expand it in the years ahead. It was particularly useful to discuss Brexit and how the company is preparing, as well as to take away some feedback for Ministers about what more we can do to support the industry here and now, as well as into the future. I look forward to visiting again in the near future for further discussions.
