After writing a joint letter with Peter Bone MP, and raising the issue in the House, I have been out and about in Irthlingborough supporting the local campaign for the replacement of the demolished Leyland Bridge. It was great to be out supporting the campaign, and it was also very useful to hear how the loss of the bridge is affecting everyone in the local area, businesses and residents alike. We have been delivering petition leaflets through doors, so please do return yours, and you can also sign the petition online at: www.tinyurl.com/roarb571. I am really keen to see the Leyland Bridge replaced speedily, and with your support, I will continue to press that case in the strongest terms.
