During an Urgent Question on the provision of support for people formerly receiving Severe Disability Premium who have transferred to Universal Credit, I asked the Minister what steps he is taking to cascade the detail of this policy to advice services so that they can best help and support those who come to them seeking help. He said that, not only do those with real, genuine frontline experience work closely with them to help to shape policies, but they also recognise that they can play a key part on the frontline. He therefore rightly highlighted the welcome announcement that Citizens Advice will be present across the JobCentre network to provide additional support for claimants above and beyond what JobCentre frontline staff do.
