I recently met with Janine McKinney, Chief Crown Prosecutor for the East Midlands to talk about recent developments at the Crown Prosecution Service. It was really interesting to catch up and to hear more about the improvements that are being put in place to improve outcomes within our judicial system locally - particularly as court backlogs are grappled with as a result of the pandemic - and to have the chance to enquire on various points around how these matters are approached.
