Flooding meeting

I recently attended a meeting I had arranged for an update on flood prevention for the badly and very regularly affected area of Brick Kiln Road in Raunds. A number of our towns and villages have been hit with flooding over the winter months and I’ve been working actively with individual constituents and the local authorities, such as in this case over several months, to identify both short and long-term solutions to deal with the immediate effects, and to try and put in place robust plans for the future. Thankfully, I genuinely think we are nearly there in getting the right solution in place in this case.
