When discussing Brexit contingency planning involving the Eurotunnel - specifically relating to the seamless transport of medicines and medical equipment - I mentioned the business of one of my constituents, Jeff Screeton. Jeff has a small business that specialises in small-scale freight on domestic passenger rail services - a very innovative and effective method of transporting items quickly, utilising spare capacity, in a way that is better for the environment. That includes medical items; and particularly items that need to move quickly. Very welcomely, the Secretary of State said that he would be happy to meet to discuss this further and I hope to put the two in touch.
