Common sense tells you that in order to get a good deal, we must be deadly serious about ‘no-deal’. I firmly believe that we must not take ‘no-deal’ off the table if we are serious about the new Prime Minister going back to Brussels to try and secure a better deal. The Secretary of State is also absolutely right that preparations for ‘no-deal’ have been extensive thus far, and I remain absolutely convinced that no deal is better than a bad deal.
