This week has been ‘Carers Week’, and never before has the amazing and tireless work our carers do been so prominent, as we continue our national fight against Coronavirus. As our country starts to take small steps to re-energise our economy by slowly and responsibly lifting the ‘lockdown’ restrictions, our carers continue their relentless work around the clock to look after the sick, the elderly and the vulnerable. And, on behalf of us all, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank each and every carer here in Corby & East Northamptonshire for the tireless work you do, and the sacrifices you have made, and continue to make, to be there when we need you most. You represent the very best of our country and our community.
