It is so important that we all know about the dangers Carbon Monoxide (CO) can pose. Cadent are doing important work in Corby & East Northamptonshire to raise awareness of these dangers, teaching children about CO in their Safety Seymour workshops in local schools (www.cadentgas.com/safety-seymour). They are also running a CO safety campaign for all primary schools and I really encourage our local schools to get involved! Children aged between 5-11 years old can submit entries in any form of media, whether it’s a poster, poem or cartoon - the only requirement being it must be informative about the dangers of CO. Winners will receive a prize for themselves and their school. You can submit an entry as a photo or scan emailed with your name, age, school and postcode to COSafetyCompetition@energynetworks.org, before midnight on Friday 10th May 2019. I really encourage everyone to get involved!
