It was a pleasure to be able to present some of Corby’s primary school children with their winners’ medals at the recent 'Kids of Steel' event in Corby as they crossed the finish line for their mini-triathlon. It is always great to see hundreds of young people taking part in this event, which showcases Tata Steel's place in the heart of our community. They sponsor the triathlon events of swimming, cycling and running around the Corby International Pool. With the help of dozens of volunteers, and Corby Community Radio, the smiles on the children’s faces showed how happy they were that the event was back on track after a Covid-enforced absence of three years. Congratulations again to everyone involved and to all those who took part!
