Each year, the Bank of England invites school and college students, aged between 16-19, to take part in its annual ‘School Blog’ competition, and this year the theme is ‘the economy and climate change’. The Bank would like students to explain in no more than 500 words what more could be done to mitigate the risks of climate change and the potential associated financial risks.
