This March, National Grid Electricity Distribution is launching the latest round of its Community Matters Fund – making available £250,000 to support projects that inspire more young people into careers in technology, science and engineering. Registered charities and non-profit companies in the Midlands could get up to £5,000 each to engage children in STEM activities, and unregistered community organisations can apply for grants of up to £2,000. Eligible projects for the latest round of funding should bring STEM to life in an engaging way, improve skills and confidence in STEM, and break down access barriers to getting involved with STEM. The deadline for applying for funding is very soon - the 27th March - and grants for successful applicants will be handed out in April. You can find out more, here: https://tinyurl.com/jpnn7853.
